This project is in its third, and last, phase. Traffic has been already been shifted onto the new alignment of the roadway in many sections. Bridge number one is the last major scope of construction to be completed, before the project fully opens this summer. Apison Pike is an urban principal arterial roadway in Hamilton County, providing a connection between the Chattanooga suburbs of Ooltewah, Collegedale, and Apison.
