Another major milestone completed on Project 01-0783 at Champion Drive in Haywood County, NC.

Crews led by Lenny Hodge and Robert Mullins successfully executed the Phase 4 traffic shift on I-40, keeping this critical project moving forward while maintaining traffic through the corridor.

Over the course of a temporary 90-hour lane closure, crews worked around the clock to complete:
• 6,700 tons of asphalt placement
• Approximately 5,000 linear feet of barrier rail relocation
• 2,500 linear feet of new barrier rail installation
• More than 3,000 square yards of milling at varying depths
This complex operation required careful planning, coordination, and dedication from every member of the team. Thanks to their hard work and commitment, the traffic shift was completed successfully ahead of schedule.

Most importantly, we're grateful for God's protection over our crews throughout the operation and for favorable weather conditions that allowed the work to be completed safely between June 8 and June 12.
