Jake is a 2024 graduate of our PIE Innovation Center CREW Construction Education program and has been part of the Wright Brothers team since graduating high school. From the beginning, Jake had one clear goal—becoming a welder—and today he’s doing just that in our welding shop.

PIE (Partners in Industry and Education) is a trade development program within the Bradley County Schools curriculum. Students spend half of their day earning credits toward their high school diploma and the other half building skills for a future career. Our Construction Program introduces students to the fundamentals of the industry, including safety, welding, blueprint reading, and equipment operation, and provides the opportunity to graduate as journeymen ready for the workforce.
