Our PIE CREW students have been hard at work applying the practical skills they’ve gained through the PIE Innovation Center Program! Last week, they took advantage of the dry, warm weather to install a new drainage system for Calhoun Elementary School's playground, solving ponding and poor drainage issues.

These future industry leaders calculated grade, determined the best installation mechanics, and executed the project—just in time for this week's heavy rain! Thanks to their dedication, Calhoun Elementary students can enjoy a safer, drier playground.
