Construction Safety Week continues with our Safety Team spending time in the field alongside crews across Tennessee.
Before the rain moved in, teams in Hamilton, Smith, and Polk Counties gathered for breakfast and lunch events focused on one thing: keeping everyone safe as temperatures begin to climb heading into summer.
Discussions centered around heat stress awareness, recognizing early warning signs, hydration practices, and looking out for one another on the jobsite during the hottest months of the year.
We also appreciate our partners at Southern Carlson and Safety Products Global for stopping by to support our crews with visits, safety discussions, and SWAG, including specialized safety knives designed to help reduce hand and cutting injuries which are one of the most common risks in construction work.
Construction Safety Week is a reminder that safety is not just a meeting or a slogan. It’s the daily habits, conversations, and decisions made in the field that help everyone go home safely at the end of the day.
