Sometimes the best views come with the night shift.

Wright Brothers Trucking’s AJ DePoy captured this shot of one of our trucks at our asphalt plant, waiting to load up for our TDOT SR 58 resurfacing project.

During the heat of summer, much of our paving work takes place after dark. Nighttime operations help crews avoid the hottest part of the day, while also allowing work to take place when traffic volumes are typically lower and lane closures can have less impact on motorists.

It takes a lot of people working behind the scenes and after hours to keep a paving operation moving. Thanks to AJ for sharing a pretty great view from this one.
