We appreciate WLOS taking the time to visit the U.S. 64/74A project and share an inside look at the work underway between Bat Cave and Chimney Rock.

Nearly two years after Hurricane Helene, rebuilding this heavily damaged corridor remains a complex undertaking. Our team is working alongside NCDOT to restore permanent infrastructure while maintaining traffic for residents, businesses and visitors.

There is still a great deal of work ahead, but we are proud to be part of restoring this vital connection for the people of Western North Carolina.
